This area, technical recruiting, has been at that heart of all we have done at Core Competencies LLC over the last 15 years. Historically, Mike Pfirrman, founder of Core Competencies, started out in construction recruiting, mostly working with some of the country's largest commercial general contractors and EPC firms. Over time, that client list expanded to specialty or subcontractors (electrical, mechanical / industrial process, drywall, roofing, and glazing / curtain wall). From there, our expertise expanded into building products and highway construction. We now have quite a few of the largest building product manufacturers in the US (and globally) as clients. We also have done work in not only construction and building products, but also in traditional manufacturing as well.
